Auto Pilot Stress Eating

So every time that we binge, we're likely not aware and present, because there's no number, there's no accounting. There's no accurate assessment grounded in reality attached to it. It is mostly emotional and chemical. 
Every time that we binge, a.k.a. stress eat, mindlessly eat, we are likely taking in a tremendous amount of calories. Often, the amount of fuel that would be required for several days! So even with the best exercise, if that is a habit, which likely it is and it's embedded and ingrained into our nervous system, we can't keep up with creating enough of a slight caloric deficit to release “lose” unhealthy weight. If you couple that with the fact that we don't have a lot of muscle because most of us don't strength train, and we don't strength train consistently. It is a recipe for frustration. So, consistency is key and being very clear about the effects of our autopilot habits is essential.
